Origin.
This adventure started more than 10 years ago after sailing some Olympic classes.I was involved in the 32nd America’s Cup in Valencia as a pro sailor and rigger, and I became one of the core members for all team sailing activities.After that in 2008, I started as the official rigger and boat captain for Iberdrola’s GP42 and we won two titles in a row on the international circuit.I stayed involved with the AC team until 2010 when I signed as lead rigger with Mapfre-Movistar and their Imoca 60 campaign. I was also responsible for their safety and ballast tank.In 2011 I started working with Telefonica’s Volvo Ocean Race campaign as lead rigger and today I have the same role for Sweden’s Team SCA for their VOR project.
For the next Volvo Ocean Race 2017-2018 I wil be the Spars division manager for the Race.
